Regularly wiping down gas stove parts usually keeps the stove in operation. Sometimes, however, the jets on a gas stove get clogged, causing an uneven ring of flame, or no flame whatsoever. Maintenance is fairly straightforward, but safety precautions are necessary throughout the operation and maintenance of the stove.

  •  To start please ensure the stove is cool and that the gas has been disconnected from the stove.
  • Once the stove is disconnected, turn on then off to ensure all the gas has escaped from the stove.
  • Next step is to remove the burner head itself by Unscrewing it from the stove, this should reveal the small hole in the jet.

  • You will then need to clear any carbon debris from the small hole, you can do this by using a jet pricker or a small needle.
  • Once this is completed clean off the stove then reassemble.
